Home to the world-famous Derby Races, Epsom Downs has the wide open spaces of the racecourse and the golf course as well as excellent local shopping and rail services to the London termini from either Tattenham Corner or Epsom Downs Station.  To the east and bordering Banstead and Tadworth, Burgh Heath features the open heath and pond and also has local shops and the Asda superstore.  The main town centre of Epsom is just over a mile away and has all that you would expect of a thriving market town.
